The most sustainable way of building is by not building at all.

 

In this renovation project, none of the built volume was demolished. Instead, the house was optimized internally to bring back light, create space, and restore the connection with the garden.
The central support beam and atrium make it possible to connect 4 functions with a single intervention. Cooking, living, sleeping, and working all take place in one space.
